Havana Childers, LISW-CP
Hello, I’m Havana. As a licensed clinical social worker, I show a natural aptitude for empathy and a deep-rooted desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. As a teen, I recognized the importance of mental health and its profound influence on overall well-being. This awareness led myself to pursue a career dedicated to helping those facing the journey of anxiety, depression, life transitions, teen issues and wellness development.
My approach to therapy is defined by collaboration, understanding, and support. Believing that the therapist-client relationship is a partnership, I foster an environment where clients are encouraged to
express themselves freely and authentically.
Traveling has broadened my horizons and allows for a deeper understanding of different cultures and their unique approaches to mental health and wellness. Mindfulness practices, a cornerstone of my own well-being, are integrated into both personal and professional life, fostering a sense of balance and serenity. Needlepointing and spending time with my cat and my friends are my favorite ways to spend time outside of the office.
I look forward to working together on this journey.
